Melted,
except for a few patches above 10k.
Still seeing flowers
Monkshood linger in the wetlands. Columbine scattered.
Monuments
in bloom around the upper lake.
Carrion primrose fading out
Good thing the trail's marked
in places along the ridge.
Woulda never bagged the peak,
claimed to be
an "extreme mountain experience" by others, on the way back down.
